Night fell heavily on the heights of the mountains and the man could see nothing. There was no visibility; the moon and stars were covered with clouds.
When he was just a few feet below the top of the mountain, he slipped and fell into the air and fell at great speed. He only sees black spots when he goes down and feels the terrible feeling of being sucked in by gravity.
He continued to fall and in those moments of great fear came all the good and bad episodes of his life. He thought of how close death was when he suddenly felt the rope pull very hard around his waist. His body was in the air. Only the rope holds it. In that moment of silence, he had no choice but to shout, "Help my God."
Suddenly a deep voice answered, "What do you want me to do?" "Save my God." "Do you really think I can save you?" "Of course I believe you can do it." "Then tie the rope around your waist."
There was a moment of silence. The moment passed and the man decided to hold the rope with all his strength.
The rescue team says that the climber was found dead and frozen the next day, his body hanging on a rope and his hands held tight. He was only one foot off the ground.
How attached are we to our ropes? Shall we let them go? Never doubt God. We have to have enough faith to cut the rope, if that's what God tells us to do, even if it's the most foolish thing to do.
