Strong or weak English short stories

There was a proud teak tree in the forest. He was tall and strong. A small herb stood next to the tree.

The teak tree said, "I am very attractive and strong. No one can beat me." When the herb heard this, he replied, "Dear friend, too much pride is harmful. Even the strong will fall one day. "

The teak ignores the words of the plants. He continued to praise himself.

There was a strong wind. The teak is sturdy. Even when it rained, the teak stood strong by spreading its leaves.

During these times, the herbs bent low. The teak provided the herbs.

One day there was a storm in the forest. The herbs bend low. As usual, the teak wouldn't bend.

The storm is getting stronger. The teak could no longer bear it. He feels his strength giving way.

He did his best to stand upright, but eventually fell over. That was the end of the proud tree.

When everything was calm again, the herbs were upright. He looks around. He sees that the proud teak has fallen.
